SER hosts side session OECD Forum
The SER will host a side session of the OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector on 13 February 2023. In an online session, members of the former Dutch Agreement on Garments and Textiles who are experts on sectoral collaboration, will share their insights on how negotiated sector agreements create an optimal environment for companies to establish and/or strengthen their due diligence systems.

The session will be hosted by Fleur Meerman, Senior Policy Advisor at the SER and Board Member of Open Supply Hub. She will be joined by Marieke Doolaard, Responsible Production Chain Manager at Hema and Ruben Korevaar, Policy Advisor at Mondiaal FNV. They will share evidence-based success factors for establishing a risk-based approach to international responsible business conduct based on years of experience in facilitating or participating in sector agreements.
